If you want to get started on your professional registration…

Get started on your application this summer to become an AIRAH Registered Professional Engineer (ARPEng).

Australia’s states are introducing professional registration schemes for engineers. The Queensland Professional Engineers Act has been in operation since 2002 and both Victoria and New South Wales are moving toward their own professional registration requirements. As a result, engineers will need to be registered if they provide “professional engineering services”.

A successful application to become an ARPEng will display to the industry – and to the public at large – your qualifications and commitment to the discipline. An ARPEng designation confirms that your skills, professional development and training are up-to-date, and that you are a qualified professional.

For more information and to start the process, please click here.

Throughout your working life, undertaking continuing professional development (CPD) is an important way to expand your knowledge, maintain up-to-date technical skills and progress your HVAC&R career. AIRAH recommends members undertake 150 hours of CPD over three years.
