Affiliate Membership is open to anyone actively involved in or new to the
HVAC&R industry.
Stud.AIRAH
Student Member
Student Membership is available for full-time students, apprentices, and trainees
in Australia.
M.AIRAH / AM.AIRAH
Graded Member
Open to Affiliate Members that can show a mix of qualifications, experience, and
responsibility working as a professional or practitioner in HVAC&R.
Open to industry professionals, practitioners, teachers, or researchers who have
made significant contributions to the HVAC&R industry. Applicants will usually be members of
AIRAH for at least 10 years or have an equivalent level of experience in a senior position.
Postnominal at retirement
Retired Member
Open to AIRAH members (Affiliate, Member, Associate Member, Fellow) who are over the
age of 67 and no longer working full-time may enquire about qualifying for retired member fees.
Life membership is one of the greatest honours bestowed upon an AIRAH member. It
includes recipients of the James Harrison Medal in recognition of the highest levels of individual
achievement in the Australian HVAC&R industry.
