He has been general manager of some of Australia’s leading service providers, has managed manufacturing facilities in Australia and New Zealand, and been responsible for national and international product distribution.

Glenn holds an Associate Diploma in Applied Science and remains as an Independent Chair for Australian Standards, Chairing committee FP-001, the committee responsible for the development of AS 1851 “Routine Service of fire protection systems and equipment”.

Ivan Steed is a Fire Safety Assessor specialising in auditing and reporting on new and existing passive and active mechanical services essential fire safety measures. He provides assistance to building owners, builders and contractors with smoke hazard management systems, including compliance and certification and endorsement issues.

Ivan is a member of the Standards Australia sub-committee ME-062-01 responsible for revisions to AS/NZS 1668.1-1998 and represents AIRAH on the AS 1851 FP-001 committee.

Nat Andrews has been working in the construction industry for over 26 years as a building surveyor and building consultant. His extensive experience in certification and building code consulting ranges from small residential projects to large-scale development. He also has extensive experience in development assessment, which was part of his role in councils for more than 20 years.

Nat has a passion for assisting people within and outside the construction sector to demystify the planning, building and council processes for everyone, and have a bit on fun along the way.
