“I’m really looking forward to joining AIRAH for a fireside chat at Optus Stadium. After 14 years with the West Coast Eagles, stepping fully into the business world with ONN1 has been one of the most rewarding challenges of my life. ONN1 is our plumbing and electrical business servicing the industrial, commercial and mining sectors across WA, and it came together after merging West End Plumbing with our electrical arm to build something genuinely end-to-end for our clients.
I’ll be sharing what that growth journey has looked like - the realities of scaling a business, building a team you can trust, winning and retaining work in competitive sectors, and the lessons I’ve carried across from elite sport into running a company. I’ll also touch briefly on the McGovern Foundation, started by my Dad Andrew, and how community work fits alongside the business. Looking forward to a great conversation on the night.”
