About this course
This two-day course is offered as a face-to-face or in-house session.
Through design, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance – as well as with a robust energy management program – it is possible to attain the highest levels of energy efficiency.
The Energy-Efficient Industrial Refrigeration course will assist participants in improving energy efficiency in industrial refrigeration systems. It discusses changes to the operating practices of food processing companies, refrigerated warehouses, and cold storage facilities, as well as the allied trades that support them. It also provides an understanding of how energy – mainly in the form of electricity – is charged, as well as ways in which retail service charges can be reduced. A brief introduction to the industrial refrigeration process will lead into how and where energy use can be monitored, recorded, reduced and audited.
