WA - Cool Earth Geothermal Project

WA - Cool Earth Geothermal Project
Join AIRAH’s WA division for a presentation on the Cool Earth Project, which explores alternative options for heating and cooling residential homes.

Two homes have been built side by side in Craigie, a residential estate in Perth’s northern suburbs. One home contains a geoexchange heating and cooling system, while the other has a standard reverse-cycle air conditioner.

Over a two-year period, the temperature and energy usage of the two homes will be compared to measure the effectiveness of the geoexchange system against conventional technology.

This project is an initiative by LandCorp, ABN Group, GeoExchange Australia, Carbonomics and The University of Western Australia.
