The Coming Age of Grids and Smart Buildings
This webinar was conducted live on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
Overview
This webinar provides an overview of the smart grid particularly as it relates to buildings and their systems.
The smart grid is coming; and in the future buildings will be interacting even more with electricity utilities. Communication will be in both directions, with the utility working to balance grid supply and demand using methods such as signalling requests for demand-response measures and real-time price adjustments. This is a new and evolving field, and while there are some differences in the way a smart grid might function in various regions of the world, there are some common factors as well.
