Overview 

This is an informative series of three short webinars that will provide you with the knowledge to identify and manage the transition away from HCFCs and HFCs. 
The Montreal Protocol sets out a mandatory timeline for the phase out of ozone-depleting substances including hydrocholorflurocarbons (HCFCs), such as R22 and the phase-down of hydroflurocarbons (HFCs). Strict regulations, standards and procedures must be followed when handling refrigerants and air-conditioning equipment must comply with relevant Electrical Safety Standards.

Presenter – Michael McCann, Principal Consultant, Expert Group

Michael McCann has more than 25 years experience working on energy efficiency of buildings and equipment. He is one off the co-authors of Cold Hard Facts, a detailed study of the entire HVAC&R industry in Australia and he has recently co-founded Energyallstars.com, a reference website for buyers of HVAC&R equipment to allow them to compare the total cost of ownership of the most efficient HVAC&R equipment with the average performing equipment in the market.
