Cold Hard Facts 2021- Key developments and emerging trends in the RAC industry in Australia

Cold Hard Facts 2021 is a publication produced by the Expert Group on behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (DAWE). It is the latest in the CHF series, covering the 2020 calendar year, and continues the analysis of the Australian “cooling economy” as it transitions towards lower GWP refrigerants and technology in line with the regulated HFC phase-down.

This presentation will provide an overview of the report findings including industry trends, the transition of the bank of installed equipment, refrigerant imports and usage, and the emergence of new technology in the main equipment classes.
