Gender equality in the workplace - An eight step strategy to move forward with
Achieving gender equality is important for workplaces not only because it is “fair” and “the right thing to do”, but also because it can help future-proof our workforce, increase organisational performance, and improve our ability to attract and retain employees. Workplace gender equality is achieved when people are able to access and enjoy the same rewards, resources and opportunities, regardless of gender.
In this session, we continue the discussion on gender equality in the workplace. We will take a deeper look into how the HVAC&R industry is currently positioned in relation to key gender equality indicators and share an eight-point strategic plan all organisations can follow to first diagnose and then action improvement in key focus areas. Malcolm will share successful strategies and experiences from the Hussmann Oceania group.
