A practical guide to electrification for existing buildings

David will provide an overview of the process to remove natural gas systems from existing buildings based on the Practical Guide to Electrification for Existing Buildings, to be launched by the GBCA in September 2022.  
 

About David Clark:
David Clark has been an international leader in the delivery of sustainable buildings for more than 20 years and an engineer for more than 30 years. He was the principal technical author of the first Green Star rating tool in 2003 and in 2013 published the book What Colour Is Your Building?: Measuring and reducing the energy and carbon footprint of buildings. He has been chair of the GBCA’s Green Star Technical Advisory Group since 2017 and wrote the practical guides to electrification of new and existing buildings with the GBCA in 2022. After 18 years as a Partner with Cundall, in August 2022 he launched his own practice, Positive Zero, to provide sustainable strategy, design, training, peer review and expert advice for real estate organisations, property portfolios, masterplans and buildings.
