Recognising the importance of commissioning – TACA Accreditation
Chris, Mark and Hayley will provide an overview of the Testing and Commissioning Association’s (TACA) vision and progress, as well as the importance of the accreditation to the industry.
About Chris Wright:
Chris is the President of TACA, and past President of NEBB Australia and AMCA Australia. He commenced in the HVAC&R industry as a cadet engineer in 1974, and since 1987 has been the Director of TCM, a leading commercial mechanical services contracting and maintenance company in Tasmania.
About Mark Jacobson:
Mark has an extensive history within the building services industry and has spent more than 25 years focusing on the technical delivery of complex buildings and associated systems. Throughout his career, Mark has successfully held a number of challenging positions including Design Engineer, Commissioning/Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager and National BIM Manager, before moving into his current role as a Services Commissioning & Integration Manager. Mark’s experience and intimate knowledge in all facets of building services, from design to commissioning, operational validation and tuning, ensures a holistic approach when collaborating between the client, principal contractor, consultants, specialist sub-contractors and facility managers.
About Hayley Dagg:
Hayley has more than 20 years’ experience in administration and client service experience, working in the construction industry for 12 years, with the past eight in HVAC. She is the former Administration Manager for Olsen Environment and past coordinator of NEBB Australia.
Hayley is currently the TACA Coordinator.
