Documenting commissioning requirements – A personal contemplation to achieve better outcomes
Although the specification of commissioning requirements is standard for construction projects, often what is documented falls short in providing sufficient detail or clarity. This makes it harder for installing contractors to accurately budget, execute and achieve without interpretation, which may lead to a mismatch in expectations and sub-optimal outcomes.
This session will reflect upon relevant examples of the specification of HVAC commissioning requirements. It will also provide suggestions on how these can made clearer to achieve commissioning outcomes effectively.
