Ken Thomson, F.AIRAH
NCC 2022/Green Star metering and monitoring case studies
This session will explore the practical application and limitations of metering and monitoring solutions for achieving code compliance with the NCC and Green Star. Attendees will learn how to apply a metering and monitoring solution, and what outcomes are most important when considering design and data acquisition for achieving an energy management solution.
The focus will be on an end-to-end approach to metering and monitoring solutions, which achieve validated data where other approaches fall down, as well as issues that should be considered for building owners and facilities managers. This includes technology issues, demarcation of scope, contractor expertise, delivery methods and engagement.
