Pumps in HVAC&R – Pump selection and application

This course familiarises participants with the application of air filtration for HVAC systems in buildings.

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with the information required to assist in understanding the appropriate selection and design requirements when applying pumps in an HVAC&R system.

This course examines how to identify different types and characteristics of pumps.  It looks at how a pump works; the materials and components used; and the fundamental considerations for selection of pumps for the appropriate purpose.

This course is an individual unit in the Professional Certificate in HVAC&R Fundamentals.
