Membership

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP AIRAH’s free student membership is open to anyone studying a full-time Australian qualification (university, TAFE, apprentices, trainees).
   
UNDER 30 AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP This low-cost introductory membership supports new entrants to the industry as they enter the workforce.

Industry events

Full-time students studying for an Australian qualification receive discounted registration pricing to our annual conferences and forums. These events cover many topics and are a great opportunity to hear the latest news and directly network with those in the industry.

We also offer free registration to all our Industry Nights. These events happen across Australia and provide you with a chance to explore the latest HVAC&R technology and connect with exhibitors and others working in the industry.


Introductory courses

AIRAH education and professional development

If you’re just starting out in the industry, our online Air Conditioning 101 course will give you a basic understanding of how air conditioning and ventilation works in buildings. This course takes just 4–6 hours to complete and will help to familiarise you with the language and terms associated with this technology.

For recent industry entrants, the modular Professional Certificate in HVAC&R Fundamentals can help to upgrade your skills and industry knowledge – assisting in your career development. Across a selection of eight course units, you have the opportunity to learn about air and/or water system fundamentals.

The AIRAH accredited Professional Diploma in Building Services – HVAC&R is the definitive training program for the industry. It is aimed at recent engineering graduates and/or practicing trade workers. The nine-month part-time program will increase your exposure to the HVAC&R industry through comprehensive and practical training.
