AIRAH’s Future of HVAC 2018 Conference calls for abstracts

The Future of HVAC 2018 Conference is a key event for anyone who has an interest HVAC&R – today and tomorrow. It is the leading showcase for industry innovations and trends. The conference committee is now calling for abstracts. 

Held in Melbourne from September 12–13, the conference will provide the best possible view of where the industry is heading. If you are interested in the future of HVAC&R, networking with the industry’s influencers, and providing expert opinion, the Future of HVAC 2018 is a must-attend event. 

“The Future of HVAC conference provides a unique space for exploring the most exciting developments in our sector – with the people who will implement them,” says AIRAH CEO Tony Gleeson, M.AIRAH. “Never before has there been so much interest in HVAC&R and its potential to guide us towards a cleaner, greener future, so we are expecting our best event yet.”

The conference committee is now calling for abstracts on an array of subjects, including but not limited to: 
  • Advances in building and HVAC design 
  • Innovations in HVAC equipment 
  • HVAC and energy management 
  • HVAC ownership, operation and management 
  • Changes in national and international regulations – heading towards net-zero 
  • HVAC industry education, training and innovation
  • HVAC research 
  • Case studies in HVAC design installation and maintenance
  • Changes in building use – agile working environments and flexible workplaces
  • Suggestions for a site visit or masterclass.

All submissions must include a 300-word abstract, a 100-word condensed abstract, 100-word biography and high-resolution author photo. Presentations will be 30 minutes in length, including questions and answers.

By submitting an abstract, speakers are also agreeing to submit a technical paper and PowerPoint presentation before the conference, should their application to present be successful. The conference committee has the final say on accepted presentations.
