AIRAH Memorandum of Understanding – IRHACE

AIRAH and Institute of Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers of New Zealand (IRHACE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen ties across Australasia in the HVAC&R space.


The Institute of Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Engineers of New Zealand (IRHACE) aims to promote the economic well-being and quality of life of its members and industry, and to improve the economic well-being and quality of life of every New Zealander.

This formal agreement helps both Institutes in the advancing of the industry, and in the sharing of information. Members of each Institute will also benefit in shared access to technical resources, events, and education/training.

The key areas of agreement in this MoU between AIRAH and IRHACE include:

Advocacy Each organisation may be given opportunities by the other to comment on proposed policy and position statements, as well as collaboration on the development of Standards.

As leading providers of conventional and online educational services and in recognition of the vital role professional development has for our respective members, AIRAH and IIAR agree to:

  • Both organisations will share access to their online learning programs at their respective members’ rate.
  • There will be joint recognition of CPD.
  • Consideration of common training packages.
Events AIRAH and IRHACE will assist in disseminating information about the other’s major event(s).

Members may attend either organisation’s major events at the host Institute’s members’ rate.

Members will have access to either Institute’s publications at the respective members’ rate.
