Energy
auditing – an introduction
Seminar Summary
Are you flying blind when it comes to commercial building energy usage?
Commercial buildings are being designed for energy efficient operation.
How sure can you be that energy targets are being met? Energy efficient
design is one thing, but actual operation is often a completely different
story.
There is still considerable lack of knowledge about how to approach
an energy audit and the steps that need to be taken to reduce energy
usage.
This introduction course provides participants with the knowledge and
confidence to start asking the essential questions and looking in the
right places to get effective results. The course will also demonstrate
how energy is used in buildings and how auditing building services can
promote cost savings, better comfort control, and reduced greenhouse
gas emissions.
