AIRAH is offering you an ‘all you need to know’ guide to building control in Australia and the legislative processes for building designs and approvals through our BCA seminar.


Seminar summary

This seminar specifically addresses the workings of the BCA, Volume 1 and how the relevant Australian Standards are referenced in the areas of smoke hazard management systems and fire fighting equipment (mechanical and fire services). Included is a comprehensive review of the performance based BCA. It demonstrates the basic methodologies of determining the general regulatory deemed-to-satisfy requirements of a building in regards to type of construction, egress provisions and fire ratings to structural and non-structural components.
