About this course

This course provides participants with the information required to assist in understanding the appropriate selection and design requirements when applying pumps in an HVAC&R system. It examines how to identify different types and characteristics of pumps. It also looks at how a pump works; the materials and components used; and the fundamental considerations for selection of pumps for the appropriate purpose.

This course is an individual module in the Professional Certificate in HVAC&R Fundamentals as part of the Water Systems Fundamentals Certificate.
