AIRAH Graduate Certificate programs
General information
What is a
Graduate Certificate?
Graduate certificates are
generally designed for specific vocational purposes, either the broadening
of skills and knowledge already gained in an undergraduate program,
or vocational skills and knowledge in a new professional area. They
typically follow a Bachelor's Degree.
What is a Vocational Graduate Certificate?
Vocational Graduate Certificates are positioned at the same level as
the Graduate Certificate and require a similar volume of learning. They
may be more focussed on industry outcomes, with less emphasis on an
academic discipline and they are authorized through the Vocational Education
and Training sector rather than the Higher Education sector.
Individual subjects
Candidates may choose to study individual modules of the Graduate Certificate
programs. Upon completion of the subject candidates will be issued a
nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for that module.
Course delivery
All modules are available in distance education format.
Distance education enables candidates in metropolitan and regional areas
to study the course, and provides a flexible option for busy professionals.
Completion of the program
Candidates must successfully complete all modules in the graduate certificate
to be eligible to receive the qualification.
Graduate Certificate in Air Conditioning (Code Compliance) – five
modules.
Vocational Graduate Certificate in Energy Efficient HVAC Design –
three modules.
