Pre Sales/Project/Systems Engineer - Mechanical/HVAC - (Melbourne, VIC)

Responsible for working closely with the sales team to help drive sales by providing technical advice on cooling solutions within the data-centre solutions space. Key requirement will be presentations to customers and business partners educating them on the technical benefits of the proposed solutions. Other key functions will include designing appropriate air-conditioning/cooling solutions, to suit the individual needs on each project.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering ideally in mechanical / air-conditioning / HVAC solutions. You will have a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical technical concepts and processes. You may have come from a consulting engineer's background and ready to step into a more sales focused organisation. You may come from a project design role, ready to progress your career to the next step. You will be technically strong, and naturally you will have first class communication and interpersonal skills.

The primary requirements of the role are;

· Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or an equivalent further course of study or experience.

· Commercial and business acumen

· Drive and ambition – a self starter

Facilities Manager - St George Private Hospital (NSW)

A full time position exists for an active, responsible and motivated person to manage our Engineering team. You will be working in an extremely busy environment and must be willing to work as part of a team and within OH&S guidelines.

Duties Include:


Manage the maintenance requirements of the hospital and participate in facility planning and development.
Co-ordinate resources and participate in all general repairs to plant and equipment
Manage the preventative maintenance program
Ensure staff and contractors work safely in compliance with Statuary requirements

Manage the facility’s $ and participate in capital upgrades.

Maintain the asset data base

Essential Criteria:


Demonstrate experience in a similar position, a strong electro-mechanical background.
Good communication skills and strong Team spirit
At least 5 years experience, ideally in health services
Understanding of the key Australian Standards, associated maintenance knowledge and its combined influence on the operational performance of a hospital

Good interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
Comfortable using electronic office and maintenance support systems
Demonstrated ability to work without supervision proactive, and effectively delegates
Sound organising and prioritising skills
To be a member of the Hospitals Fire and Emergency Team, and to respond accordingly
