Christian Clowes - seeking apprenticeship as an air conditioning/refrigeration/HVAC technician

My name is Christian Clowes, I am 19 years old and reside in Perth, Western Australia. I have completed both a diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration) and a Certificate II in Electro Technology Servicing. Both of which were completed at the Carlisle TAFE campus, and in addition the latter I was one of only two people to complete and pass the semester course. Furthermore I have several years experience working with HVAC equipment, in particular transportable cool-rooms and air-conditioned offices. I am currently seeking an apprenticeship as an air conditioning/refrigeration HVAC technician. I would be eager to take up an apprenticeship at either a metropolitan based company or one that is abroad requiring fly in / fly out conditions. Currently, I have taken a break in between the completion of my studies and the start of an apprenticeship, hence why I am working at Coles Distribution Center Canning Vale. I am able to commence work at almost any time, given a weeks notice to my current employer. Available working days would be Monday to Friday, or more so given conditions of out of metropolitan area employment. I also have my drivers license. I am eager to utilise the skills and abilities I have gathered through my studies and work experience, especially both hands on work and Auto-CAD / engineering work.

Jon Press - seeking apprenticeship as an air conditioning/refrigeration technician

My name is Jon Press I am 19 years old and finished VCE in 2006. I am currently seeking an apprenticeship as an air conditioning/refrigeration technician. After completing Year 12 I was unsure of what I wanted to do so I started my own small garden maintenance business. This enabled me to earn some money as I thought about different career options. After talking to a careers advisor and a friend who is in his 3rd year of his apprenticeship I have decided that I would like to become involved in the industry.

I live in Melbourne and would be able to work Monday to Friday. If employed I would attend Box Hill TAFE.

I have completed an apprenticeship and I am trade qualified.

I have experience in domestic, commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration and experience in wholesale.

I have worked for Carrier for a number of years as a technical sales consultant before moving on to the role of branch manager.

I also have experience on ultra low temperature applications and digital controllers and monitoring.
