The Vocational Graduate Certificate in Energy Efficient HVAC Design is a nationally-recognised qualification offered by AIRAH in its capacity as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 121561).
Topics covered include the application of mechanical services codes and standards to HVAC system design, maximising energy efficiency in building services operations, and design of energy efficient HVAC systems.
The first intake of candidates occurred in July 2008.

Building on from the AIRAH Accreditation program, the Vocational Graduate Certificate in Mechanical Services (Code Application) is a nationally-recognised qualification offered by AIRAH in its capacity as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 21561).
Topics covered include the Building Code of Australia, microbial control, fire and smoke control, and mechanical ventilation.
The first intake of candidates occurred in October 2005.

AIRAH Accredited Practitioners have shown that they have successfully completed the professional development units required to ensure a proper level of competence and professionalism in their service to the field of design and mechanical engineering pertaining to the HVAC&R industry. Accredited Practitioners adhere to the AIRAH Code of Ethics and have committed to ongoing Continued Professional Development to maintain their status in the industry.

AIRAH manages a national register of accredited energy auditors with the capacity to undertake energy audits and develop energy management systems.
AIRAH Accredited energy auditors have demonstrated their competency in delivering Level 3 energy audits as defined in the Australian Standard AS/NZS 3598 (2000): Energy Audits. A rigorous peer review process and reference process is undertaken to establish the competence of AIRAH Accredited energy auditors.
Every two years each auditor is reassessed for currency in the market.

Backflow is the unwanted reverse flow of liquid in a piping system which may result in the contamination of safe drinking water.
Plumbers on this register have the appropriate knowledge and experience to assess a property's risk level, and to fit and maintain backflow prevention devices as necessary.
