Professional Development
AIRAH is dedicated to improving and complementing the knowledge and education of HVAC&R personnel.
Our professional development program offers a range of opportunities, with something for everyone; including designers, installers and operators. From Air Conditioning 101, which is suitable for everyone, through to post graduate study with our nationally recognised Vocational Graduate Certificate qualifications.
During 2013, updated courses in ‘Essential Safety Measures’ and ‘Smoke Control and Fire Dampers’ will be offered. The Standards upon which these courses are based - AS 1668:2012 and AS 1851:2012 – have been revised and reissued, and the courses have also been updated to reflect these changes.
Engineers Australia and the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) recognise AIRAH courses for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. Details and requirements are available from the relevant body.
