Join our DA19 HVAC&R Maintenance workgroup!

Friday, February 2, 2018

We are forming a new DA19 HVAC&R Maintenance workgroup and are looking for contributors.

The workgroup will work with AIRAH’s project team to review, revise and contribute to Australia’s HVAC&R industry’s best-practice guide for maintenance.

The workgroup brings together key stakeholders, including:

  • Experts in the maintenance and service of HVAC&R systems
  • Building owner/managers
  • Property/facility managers who procure and manage these activities
  • Consultants in this space that understand HVAC/mechanical services maintenance.

To ensure the revised DA19 is relevant for a constantly changing marketplace, workgroup members will attend an initial kick-off teleconference, which will be chaired by AIRAH Board member Bryon Price, F.AIRAH.

This will be followed by monthly meetings, with continuing contact and input conducted electronically to optimise your time and effort.

It is expected that you will need to be able to commit 40–60 hours of your time between now and September 2018.

Getting involved with AIRAH
Not only will contributing to the manual revision provide you with better information, opportunities and industry ties. It also offers you the chance to connect with some of the HVAC&R industry’s leading practitioners, with AIRAH staff – and through the experience of volunteering – to be involved in something bigger than yourself.
